A house fire can devastate a family. October is Fire Safety Month and it's time to check the batteries in our smoke detectors again. Please follow the fire safety tips to protect the ones you love and have a fire safety plan for your family. Including the smallest members. Did you know that over 500,000 pets are affected by house fires every year? Sadly, over 40,000 of them die from smoke asphyxiation. Thanks to the Bark 10-4 Program, you can help save the life of a pet by donating a Pet Oxygen Mask to your local fire department.
