It comes around 2p.m. when you’ve finished eating lunch and now you’re just about ready for a nap. Unfortunately you still have hours of work left. How are you going to make it through the afternoon slump? Well, you could drink some coffee, but that will only last so long before you’re crashing again. You could try eating a candy bar, but the effects will be similar to the coffee. While coffee and a sugary snack can get (2 comments)

reva: Improve Fan Interaction with These Facebook Apps - 11/08/11 05:20 PM
As a real estate agent, it is a part of your job description to get to know and interact with members of your community. While it’s easy to attend a community event and strike up a conversation and possibly gain a new client, when it comes to using social media, accomplishing this is easier said than done. When you scroll through your Facebook page, it seems like you have been doing everything right. You post interesting articles relevant to your community and real estate, you ask questions to engage with your fans, and you comment on other member’s pages and posts. (6 comments)
While we enjoy bringing you all of the latest and greatest tips and tools for social media, we also are firm believers in the tried and true basics of online marketing! Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, a custom blog and other social media sites are all extremely valuable for marketing as they allow you to connect and interact directly with your clients and leads. However, they should never take the place of a customized, content rich website!
With the lean towards social media, it could be that your website has fallen to the wayside and has gotten a little outdated. Hey, it (4 comments)
reva: Use Booshaka to Monitor Your Most Loyal Facebook Fans! - 11/02/11 04:45 PM
Utilizing analytics to measure the success of your Facebook business page is incredibly important. You can use tools such as Facebook Insights to monitor how many people are looking at your page, reading your posts, interacting with your brand and viewing your visual media. You can also discern which posts are getting the most interaction, which allows you to make changes accordingly. By using an analytics tool to monitor exactly what is working on your Facebook page, (and what isn’t), you can set realistic goals for your social networking efforts. The one thing that you have never been able to pinpoint, (4 comments)

Have you stopped to think how technology driven our society is today? It seems worlds away from where we were twenty, fifteen, even ten years ago! In fact, there’s a whole generation of people who don’t even know what life was like before the internet. They’ve grown up with immediate access to an abundance of information at their fingertips, a fast paced social life and are novices as quickly sorting through the best and most convenient path to take in any given situation. They’re call “Millennials.”
So, how do you reach this 17-34 year old, on-the-go generation? Since they (0 comments)
reva: Is Social Media Really Worth My Time? - 10/26/11 04:33 PM
Despite the recent rise in social media marketing applications, techniques and success stories, several real estate agents across the country still don’t see social networking as a valuable resource. They consider it to be a waste of time and far too difficult to figure out. Overall, they just don’t see how getting interaction and posting updates translates into getting new business. As real estate virtual assistants, we make it a priority to keep our clients informed about how they can use social media in order to enhance their online presence. Whenever we come across an agent who is skeptical, we point (3 comments)
reva: Make Time for LinkedIn - 10/25/11 02:48 PM
In the midst of all my social networking activities, I definitely have a tendency to play favorites. Facebook receives the most attention, with logins per day reaching the double digits. I post just about anything; what song I am listening to on Pandora, funny pictures of my cat, and of course frequent status updates. Twitter almost gets equal attention, with a few posts here and there each day. Blogging comes third, in which I attempt to compose a thoughtful post once or twice a week. But at the end of the week, I have that feeling that something is missing. What (2 comments)
With the whirlwind of the social media surge, it seemed that everyone jumped on board at the same time. Before we knew it, everything had turned social and if you weren’t on the bandwagon, you were quickly left out. Over the past few years, it seems that everyone and every business has turned to social media to stay in touch and on top of their game. But at what cost?
If you haven’t considered how social media could affect your reputation, now is a great time to start. As a real estate agent, your image and what others say (10 comments)

Recently, I came across an article on msn.com that talked about five things real estate agents will do for free. Interested, I read through the article of which the basic premise was that real estate agents are eager to hold on to business and will do nearly anything to keep a client.
Now, we all know the real estate market has slowed down as a whole, but I was curious as to what you, as real estate agents, thought of this idea. For buyers and sellers who read this, they may be really excited to know their agents will (2 comments)

Do you ever feel rushed, tense or worried for no particular reason? Do you find yourself doing normal things too fast such as walking, eating or working? When I start noticing these things in my daily routine, I know that the main reason behind it is stress. And as a hard-working real estate agent, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. You’ve been hearing it more and more lately: the search for a home is beginning to start on the internet. Home buyers are already starting to look at properties of interest before contacting a real estate agent for assistance. While the ability to have featured listings on your website and visual tours on various websites such as REALTOR.com, Zillow, and Trulia is key to marketing your listings, there is one way you can truly take your initiatives to the next level: creating a separate website for each property. reva: 6 Reasons to Use #Hashtags in Your Tweets - 09/27/11 01:11 PM
As a real estate agent, it is extremely important that you utilize octothorpes in your everyday social marketing efforts. Wait – do you not know what an octothorpe is? No worries! Unless you’re appearing on an episode of Jeopardy, this is probably something you will never have to know.
