branson speedway: The latest news on the Branson Speedway - 01/19/12 01:00 PM
Please read the latest news article-taken from the Branson Daily News. It seems they are still working out the noise ordinance issue along with infastructure to be in place before any part of the 65,000 seat complex including staff offices could be occupied.

branson speedway: Branson Speedway-NASCAR or NOT? - 07/25/11 07:24 PM
A planning and zoning meeting may still be going on as I type tonight. The Branson Speedway is hoping to get approval for commercial zoning to complete a "NASCAR" track. To make it more interesting, Nascar supporter and Big Cedar owner Johnny Morris has come out with a letter not supporting this project. I just want to keep everyone updated on this issue since it effects the real estate market in the area. Whether I support it or not, I'm basically undecided-just reporting what's going on. To read the letter and response by Branson Speedway-please read this blog where the letter is posted.

Nascar style racetrack was approved by planning and zoning today!

branson speedway: Branson Speedway Under Construction - 06/19/11 04:14 PM
It's interesting, I've heard that they have been moving dirt for months for the Nascar track without final approval from the county. They have one more Planning and Zoning meeting July 11th at 6 p.m. to try and get their commercial zoning.
