1. Historical Town- The Tudor building in this photo was a result of English settlers who first opend a general store and post office in 1910. Named after Hollister, CA the bithplace of the daughter of one of the founders. When the railroad came in, it was very busy little town and noted as the first place to bring visitors to the Ozarks. This is where it started!

Hollister Mo just lies east of the Taneycomo Bridge from Branson, and the two towns are really right next to each other with the water seperating them. Hope this link is helpful to you in your home search for general information. Thanks!

Hi Everyone, Can you believe its August 17 already? Before any more time gets away, I wanted to share these three homes that I have found this week in the Branson area.
The first one is a home that has had flood damage, needs sheetrock and flooring~estimated cost of $64,000. The home is priced at $249K would be worth 425-450 depending on upgrades. It looks to have a room that may have been mother-inlaw quarters, very large kitchen, and master suite! I just had to to take this shot and share it. I was at the City Hall of Hollister, MO. I had to go down there in a rush to get water turned on for an inspection! Ahhhh! running an running right ? Ever have one of those days? It was a gorgeous day too, 70 degrees sunny with some clouds but not too many. I was parked right here talking on the phone.
