Event: Culture on the Green

Location: Civic Green Park

The International Youth Ballet will take center stage to provide a wonderful ballet performance of Sleeping Beauty.

International Youth Ballet is the one of a few select youth companies in the United States that works with professional dancers and choreographers to create and produce full length original ballets performed by youth dancers. 

The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association (CAA) and Metro District of Highlands Ranch proudly present Culture on the Green 2012. Set outdoors at Civic Green Park, this series will pair cultural performances with a beautiful outdoor setting for an experience that is sure to delight all ages. Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner for an evening under the stars. Admission is FREE. Sorry, no dogs are allowed at Civic Green Park.  Mark your calendars now for these other upcoming Culture on the Green Events you won’t want to miss! 

Event: Family Night Camp Fire

Location: Law Enforcement Training Facility

Take a mile hike into the Backcountry Wilderness Area to a secluded spot where you will enjoy peace and quiet while roasting marshmallows over campfire. We will explore the surrounding area and then take a mile hike back to the cars. Fun for all ages and makes a great family night!

Circuit Race  5/26/12:  Cat B riders two laps, Cat A will ride three loops. Race time an hour to hour and a half. 10 minutes between groups. Start/finish is up the dirt trail behind  Mountain Vista (west of Red Tail park).  One lap is 5 miles, Cat B total 10 miles and Cat A total 15 miles.

The Highlands Ranch Farmers’ and Street Market has become one of the area’s finest. HRCA will be partnering with Denver Farmers’ Market to bring these exceptional markets to Highlands Ranch residents. The Farmers' Market season starts with a plethora of sauces, pastas, flowers, breads, and more.  As produce comes in-season, the market explodes with all the colors, smells, and varieties of Colorado’s bounty.  Select the freshest in breads, fruits, and vegetables for your family to enjoy all season long.
