In a recent survey of home shoppers it was found that often men and women do agree on home must-haves.  An equal number of men and women sought green features - about 27 percent - and 35 percent of both sexes put a high priority on a home office.

Mortgage interest rates have hovered at 5 percent or less since early May as concern about the European debt crisis pushed investors to the safety of Treasuries and government-supported bonds tied to home loans. The Federal Reserve probably won’t tighten monetary policy for a “significant period of time,” the San Francisco Fed said in a study released June 14.
