A recent headline of the San Francisco Chronicle was about a female humpback whale who had become entangled in a spiderweb of crab traps and line weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused her to struggle to stay afloat. Lily a 6 year old Great Dane lost her eyesight due to a rare disease. She became disheartened until she met Madison. They have been together for 5 years.

I'm no youngster...and I have no answer for this. I've talked to alot of people about the likelihood of where birds go when it rains and everyone has a different perspective.
Kids aren't sure about it...
Some people have said that birds fly away to a dry area where it isn't raining....but what if the whole region is experiencing rain? Others have said that birds hide in trees when it's raining, but I've never seen them there. Someone told me that birds hide in the eaves of homes when it's raining but I've never seen that either.

animals: What if Puppies Could Stay as Puppies? - 09/26/09 03:58 PM
I don't have the time or inclination to look for a genetic breakthrough but wouldn't it be the coolest thing if puppies stayed puppies?
Imagine full time that puppy whimper, fluffy puppy fur, and that captivating puppy breath? Not to mention the cute Take ‘em anywhere size!
Puppies simply capture the hearts of most people... but that 6 month to 2 year old period will try the patience of the worlds most calm person.
