ideas: Caruso's Economic Update! - 02/01/12 03:42 PM
The first set of earnings released in January focused upon the financial sector. In all, the reports by larger national and regional banks were disappointing and showed that we are not out of the woods with regard to the legacy of bad loans piled up on the asset sheets of banks during the recession. While the economy recovers, debt loads of banks and nations will prove to be a drag on growth. This is why analysts are looking at the good economic releases we have experienced in the past few months and are still remaining cautious. For the consumer, this

ideas: We're All the Same... - 03/12/11 03:06 PM
The greatest challenge we all face in this business is - we are all the same. But aren't we are all unique human beings, with unique hopes, dreams, skills and talents?! Realtors are like snowflakes. No two are exactly alike, right? Not according to the consumer. Unfortunately, most consumers see us all the same way. So how are we going to differentiate from one another? Consider these categories of differentiation I have come across: Product: All the same. Do you want a Blackberry or an iPhone? They are different. Consumers have a choice. Not in real estate. We like to say that

ideas: Get Relaxed with Caruso! - 07/14/10 02:08 PM
Life gets chaotic. Sometimes it gets too chaotic. And when life gets hectic, you might find yourself daydreaming of calming tropical beaches, but unfortunately, sometimes it's just not that easy to get away. That's why I believe it's important to create a no-frills retreat in the most accessible place, no passport required: your home. I suggest finding a quiet corner to designate as your in-house-oasis. Whatever your definition of a "great thing happened"...please send it in - babies born, surprise visitors, scholarships, graduates, weddings, new boat, new car, a vacation, a concert, anything. Think about the thing(s) that made you smile - and share it with us all. Surely it will cheer everyone up, and set a great tone to start the new year. And thank you for making me Your Orange County Real Estate Connection. Best regards.

ideas: Rains Over but Ideas for next Season Inspire... - 05/03/08 03:34 PM
Rainy season never lasts long in California and we always look for a solution or some help in the area of water conservation. Here are several great ideas to consider for next year... A "rain chain" can create a visual impact as it guides water down from a gutter and downspout thru a series of decorative cups and dumps into a basin for use later in gardens. Visit rainchains.com for some examples and ideas. They can save you water and look great. Gutters and downspouts are a necessity in any home but remember not to let water accumulate near the base of the foundation.
