The time has come! The new state law has passed! The use of Carbon Monoxide Alarms will be required. California’s Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Prevention Act of 2010 requires that all residential properties with a fossil fuel burning appliance, fireplace or attached garage be equipped with an approved Carbon Monoxide Alarm.
All single family homes must be equipped with a Carbon Monoxide Alarm by JULY 1, 2011 - so if you haven't already you're late! All other residential units must have a Carbon Monoxide Alarm by JANUARY 1, 2013.

Are you familiar with the new DRE Continuing Education changes coming January 1, 2011 for California?
The DRE wanted to make Continuing Education more professional and thus the amount of reading material for at-home courses will increase and final exams will increase in difficulty, with less true and false questions and less time to answer questions. Online testing has changed significantly as well.
Also, please remember that nicknames are permitted on business cards because license numbers are required on new licensee cards. The license number must be the same size as all other fonts.
