The state is asking residents to conserve water...again. Residents are asked to water lawns less, plant native shrubs and install more efficient irrigation systems to stave off water shortages and impending rationing amid growing worries about a long term drought. In some communities residents are asked to not to water between the hours of 9:00 am - 6:00pm. Residents are also asked and home owners are asked to cut back 1 day a week of garden watering.
