How many home buyers know that the home they are about to buy is  safe for their family?  How many know the potential issues within the home, or the construction of the home, that may exsist costing  huge amounts of money in maintenence or structural repair?  Mortgage Lenders are asking these questions more often in todays market and requiring Home Inspections as a prerequisite to financing.   A Home Inspection is the best way for the lender to protect their  potential interest in the property, other than the credit research, and the best way to protect the buyer and help them gain valuable information about one of the most important purchases of their lifetimes.  It helps them to determine if there are any major problems or system inadequacies before they buy. Let's be honest.  Disclosure Laws and Disclaimer clauses do not make every home seller honest.  It is also close to impossible to  prove what the seller may or may not know about the home.  You want to read a breif article I wrote about a rescent contracting job we were called to.  The couple opted not to have a Home Inspection done before buying their home.  See article at:  greenpros.wordpress.com, click on "Money Pit Homes"

Please consider adding Greenwood Home Inspections to your resources for home Inspection Services.   I have been in business as a Building/Remodeling/ Renovation Contractor for over 10 years and have been in the industry for 22 years.  I added the Home Inspection Services in 2003 as I saw the market begin to change as more lenders were suggesting the benefits of such services.

I offer professional  objective examinations of the accessible structure, components and systems of the home based on experience in the industry and education  My service provides the home buyers with a better understanding of the physical condition of their prospective homes.  This is backed up by a detailed written report that can be shared with the lenders and brokers if requested.  Thank You for your consideration.  I look forward to hearing from you.  feel free to contacted me at cascobacon@yahoo.com  with any questions, comments or additional contact information.

* all inspections performed within the ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
