Autorama 2011 comes to Detroit, MI.
Detroit is known as THE MOTOR CITY for one reason--CARS. Detroit recently hosted the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Center to highlight new vehicles from manufacturers from around the world. Now its time to highlight another aspect of the automibile--CUSTOMIZED vehicles.
The 59th annual Autorama come to Detroit's Cobo Center from February 25-27, 2011.
Hot Rods, dragsters, custom cars, custom trucks, motorcycles and bicycles. Just about anything with wheels and a motor that can be custom modified and painted will be on display.

With today's economy, budget cuts and loss of taxes, more schools are looking for ways to raise money for students. Here is another unique opportunity for the Garden City, MI community to have a fun night out and support the local students.
The high schools Project Graduation will be hosting a euchre night at the Maplewood Center in Garden City on February 26, 2011. Check in starts at 6-15 P.M. and the tournament starts at 7 P.M.

Your blog has pictures -- BUT WHERE IS THE TITLE AND DESCRIPTION? You need them for Google Juice.
I see your nice blog with the pretty pictures. But when I scroll over the pictures there is no pop up showing a title and description. People have no clue about the picture. Where was it taken? What is it a picture of specifically? Go ahead, scroll over the picture below and see that there is no pop up title and description.

GOOGLE JUICE...  I got a call from one of my blogs. 
When my phone rang and I answered, the woman wanted to know what time my bakery outlet store closed. HUH?
Then it hit me.  MY BLOG.... I blogged about a local Aunt Millies bakery outlet in Dearborn Heights, MI.
The woman said her husband was searching with his phone for the store and a link to my blog showed up at the top of the searches. They clicked the link that took them to my blog with my picture and phone number. So she called me.

What started my problem: I read a recent post by Tammy Emineth -- SEO Tip: Don't use the term "CLICK HERE" For Anything.
It got me to thinking about a recent series of posts that I had put together on newbie tips. I went and looked at my posts. Sure enough, I put "click here" at the bottom of each one. So I decided to go back and fix what I did.

DETROIT MOTOWN WINTER BLAST 2011.

Preparations are under way at Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit for the annual winter event:
Motown Winter Blast.
The idea originated with Super Bowl XL being held in downtown Detroit at Ford Field in 2006. The organizers felt that with all the visitors in town for the football game there was a need to take advantage of the winter weather and turn it into something fun to do while you where in Detroit.
