According to InmanNews Lenders are now sticking the listing agents with REO liabilities. The article recommends reading your listing agreement carefully when you get a listing as the result of a foreclosure, a bank owned property, etc. I had not thought about this being possible, but read the article and see what you think. "My House Sold Too Fast!" - 07/22/08 10:11 AM
"My house sold too fast!" is a complaint we don't hear very often these days. But, I still hear people make comments like, "the real estate agent just wants a quick sale" and "yes, it sold, but they let their real estate agent talk them into putting the price too low." These statements are forms of, "we can always come down later," which is everyone's intuitive belief about selling a house. Oak Ridge, Tennessee Housing Market Study, Second Quarter 2008 - 07/10/08 10:22 AM
 
What has the Oak Ridge, Tennessee housing market been doing the second quarter of 2008? Here are the most recent numbers. They indicate that there was a 35.53% increase in the number of houses sold and a 14% increase in the average price for a house over the first quarter of 2008. Also, the average days on market decreased by 17%, but the average price per square feet decreased by 11%. If you have any questions, give me a call. Cathy
