I have never seen a house so decorated for Halloween as the one at 128 Nebraska, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. They have evidently been adding to the decorations for 15 years, and now it takes two months to set it up. It is complete with howlings and screams that you can hear up the street. They even have part of it inside the house. What kind of lots have been selling in Oak Ridge, Tennessee 37830 this year, 2011?
Since January 1, 2011, the only lots that have sold in Oak Ridge, Tennessee are ones in Rarity Ridge.
The average list price for those lots was $14,288 and the average sale price was $9,156.
That is an amazingly low price for a lot in Oak Ridge, but Rarity Ridge eventually went in foreclosure and was recently sold again.

According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, Knoxville home prices fell a mere .5% (one half percent) in October compared to 10.4% across the country. The article said it was a slight improvement over September.
I wrote about the Oak Ridge, Tennessee, third quarter. My numbers showed that there are some "hot" selling houses in Oak Ridge.
There was another good article about home sales in the Sentinel today. It explains the poor numbers for the whole housing market in 2008. It may not be a big surprise that the housing market was worse … (0 comments)

We had the best time this Saturday at the Oak Ridge, Tennessee Farmer's Market. Besides buying the freshest area grown corn, tomatoes, peppers, and squash, we got to eat lunch there, thanks to Zaa.
Zaa is a professional chef who cooks omelets and crepes for breakfast and pasta for lunch using foods bought at the farmer's market. He does bring a few prepared foods, unbelievably delicious brownies, chocolate cake, sweet potato pie, and the best deviled eggs you've ever eaten in your life.
