Morris County, New Jersey Holiday Lightings
Have you been wondering when your town is having its holiday festivities? I've heard quite a few people asking recently..so I wanted to help! Below is the schedule for some of the Morris County holiday festivities over the next few days.
Lincoln Park: The Holiday Lighting is on December 3rd at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building
Riverdale December 7th at 6:30 p.m. at the Riverdale School.
Butler: The Holiday Park Lighting is on December 10 at 6:30
Montville: December 6th at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building

I was going to do a Blog today about the closed sales so far in 2009 for Lincoln Park, New Jersey. However, when I started investigating, I realized only 1 single family/condo property has closed in town since 1/1/09 (7 Sherman Road, sold for $367,000.)* There goes that Blog! There are 12 single family/condo properties currently under contract in Lincoln Park, so hopefully they will all close soon and I'll have a Blog to write!
What I will Blog about, instead, is the activity I have been seeing lately. I have several first-time buyers that are now ready and have written offers. … (0 comments)

Lincoln Park Library Now Accepting Used Books
One of my favorite things to do is to read! Even with my busy schedule as aCentu real estate professional with Century 21 Crest Real Estate in Pompton Plains, I can easily read two books a week. Don't give me too much credit..most of my reading material consists of light suspense and romance, Because I go through so many books, and don't want to spend the $8 per paperback, I spend a lot of time at the Lincoln Park Library. As a real estate agent for Century 21 Crest Real Estate, I often have buyers who want to become more familiar with a town before making a decision on purchasing a home there. I think that one of the best ways for a client to get the feel of a town is to attend a special event, such as a picnic, street fair, or a sporting event. Now that the weather is changing to Spring here in Morris County, it is the perfect time for potential buyers to visit.

Update on Lincoln Park Real Estate. These are the single family homes that have closed in Lincoln Park since January 1, 2008. As you can see, not many homes have closed in the town so far this year. However, there are 20 homes (including condos/townhomes) currently "under contract" in Lincoln Park, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this list will be quite a bit longer in the near future.
