As the market declines a new market in real estate opens. Foreclosures are on the rise and seem to be a new market for clients seeking property.

I realized just recently that many of my new clients want to search for foreclosed or soon to be foreclosed properties. I have recently been involved in a purchase for a foreclosed property here in Austin and have another search for one currently. There are many properties out there since the market took a nose dive and some are taking advantage of it.

If you are looking for a property like this and have considered Austin as a possible place to live or investment then you should look a little closer. Once the market has picked up and recovered Austin will be and still is a great place to purchase a property.

It was another exciting day at the Dell Diamond last night. My wife, son and a friend of ours visited Dell Diamond last night for a game. The weather was nice the game was great and even the employees at the concession stands were entertaining. The Round Rock Express are the Houston Astros triple A team. Even though they are a triple A team the stadium and the players make you feel like you are at a big league game. If you ever get a chance to go, take your friends for an entertaining day at the ball park. We try to make it to at least ten or more games a season.

The Republic of Texas Motorcycle Rally is in full swing this weekend. Bikers from all over the state come to Austin, TX to meet and show off their motorcycles. If we repeat last years numbers it is expected to bring 50,000 visitors to Austin and have an economic impact of roughly $32 million dollars. As of right now the ROT Rally registration site is saying they are fully booked. You can take a look at previous years at www.rotrally.com. It is just another fun event for Texans and their vistors. Here are some pitures from last year.

Just another day at Zilker Park in Austin, TX. I took these pictures with my son while on the park train in Zilker park. We love spending time here with our son and friends. There are many outdoor activities to explore. The city keeps it's green space open and makes sure that nature is preserved. There is always a place to go run or relax just about any place in the city. One of the great things the city has to offer.
