tv: GEEK ALERT! Level: URGENT - 10/12/07 04:01 PM
If you use A/R, chances are you know the difference between the Star Trek series, you know what "ST:NG" means, you probably know that "ST: Deep Space Nine" is an alleged rip-off of "Babylon5," you probably even know that in 1978, the series "ST: Phase II" was shelved because of concerns with the popularity of the movie "Star Wars"...
But did you know this: CASTING IS NOW SET FOR THE NEXT STAR TREK MOVIE! (woo-hoo!)

tv: Sunday Funnies: Behind the "Boo's" - 09/30/07 08:03 PM
Ever since my husband and I got our TiVo, we have been enjoying more tv in less time. I know this sounds a little like a TiVo commercial, but for those of you who have it, you know what I mean.
An added bonus is that we get to find out about shows we would otherwise never hear about. Such is the case with the VH1 show,"Mission: Man Band" (at least I think it's on VH1 ... another side-effect of TiVo is that I never know when or what channel shows are. sigh.)

Just like to commercial* says, "People are smart." They know a good deal when they hear one....
