Regardless of what the media is reporting, there are signs the economy is improving in Murphy North Carolina.  In just a few weeks, Krystals will be opening on Highway 64.  Joining the strip with Wendy’s, McDonalds and Pizza Hut, Krystals must be looking into their “crystal ball” and know that things are looking up!

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of the most visited National Parks in the United States.   I have great memories from my childhood of visiting the Indian Village of Cherokee, camping in Smokemont with my grandparents and driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Historically, looking back on the Market Report for Western NC/Northeast GA, August is not our strongest month of the year.  Summer is starting to wind down, the Fall Semester for College starts mid-month and most grade schools have started by the last week of the month.  


As you can see from the charts below, comparing the sales for August 2011 with August 2010, the actual NUMBER of sales closed was down - 32 in 2011 vs 38 in 2010.  The corresponding Gross Sales figure for 2011 was down as well … (3 comments)
