66 single family homes currently available, 3.999M at the high end and 240K at the low end.  Of the 66 homes available, 5 are banked owned or REO's and 6 are Short Sales
25 condo/townhouse currently available, 1.299 on the high end and 388,888 at the low end.  Of the 25 condo/townhouses available, 1 is a bank owned or REO property and 2 are Short Sales

Sometimes I think we get so caught up in the activities around the Holidays that we forget that they are designed as a time for us to reflect upon the good things that have come into our life in the past year.

Sunset on Maui: Wordless Wednesday - 11/24/10 07:16 PM
I love living in the San Francisco Bay area it is such a great place, but I have to say I am having a hard time adjusting to this cold spell after spending 10 days in Hawaii.  This was the last sunset I saw on Maui, it makes me feel warmer looking at it.  I hope it warms you up as well!

I admit I have not been as responsive to email or voicemail this week as usual but, I am in Hawaii on vacation.  However, I still want to make sure I am available to my clients but who would not get distracted with this as the view outside your window?  I  am amazed I have done anything at all!  Have a great week everyone.

Recipe: Scrambled eggs with tomatoes, jalapeños and spinach - 11/17/10 01:30 AM
Scrambled eggs with tomatoes, jalapeños and spinach is my new favorite breakfast.  Plus I add just about 1/2 a slice of bacon to give it a little smoky flavor, but not too many additional calories.  For the an even better experience I throw on some fresh salsa.  
I discovered this combination vacationing Hawaii and wanting to find a breakfast that was tasty but not too high in fat and calories.  One of the hardest things about being on vacation is eating right and eating something that is tasty.  This combination hit the spot on all levels.  It tasted very decadent, but it … (7 comments)

A great trip to the beach with my son: Wordless Wednesday - 11/10/10 08:13 PM
In the Fall in Northern California you never know what the weather will be like.  Today is cold and overcast and just last Wednesday we were having a little heat wave so I drove over the mountain to go spend a couple of hours with my son on the beach in Half Moon Bay, CA.  I thought this shot turned out pretty good considering I took it with my iPhone.  I loved how the fog was moving in to shore

15 townhouses/condos came on the market in October 2010, the highest priced home was 1.125M and the lowest priced home was 435K.  2 are short sales. Of the 15 homes that came on the market in October 2010, 9 homes are still currently available.

With October ending on Halloween, was the townhouse/condo real estate activity a trick or a treat in Mountain View, CA?
32 townhouses/condos came on the market in October 2010, the highest priced home was 848.5K and the lowest priced home was 190K.  5 are bank owned and 5 are short sales. 17 of the homes were listed for over 500K and 15 were listed for less than 500K. Of the 32 homes that came on the market in October 2010, 24 homes are still currently available.

31 Single family homes came on the market in October 2010, the highest priced home was 1.699M and the lowest priced  home was 435K, 12 homes were listed over a 1 M,  16 homes or 50% of the inventory was between 1M and 500K and 3 homes were listed under 500K.  2 homes listed were bank owned.  Of the 31 homes that came on the market in October 2010, 18 homes are still currently available.

38 Single family homes came on the market in October 2010, the highest priced home was 2.988M and the lowest priced 849,888K  Only 10 homes listed in October 2010 were under a Million Dollars, 3 were over 2 Million and 2 were Short Sales.  20 of the 38 homes that went on the market in October 2010 were sold or under contract by the end of October.
