Paradise Ridge is located in near Paradise Hills in northwest Albuquuerque. The homes in Paradise Ridge were built by Fuller Homes in approximately 2003-2005.
Fuller homes is a local builder with a reputation for quality built homes.Fuller homes have spacious floorplans with large living rooms.
Currently there are three houses for sale and two houses in pending status in Paradise Ridge. 3 houses have sold over the last year. The average 1827 square foot house has been selling for $194,500.

Last week I received an invitation from a new friend to attend a lunch. I accepted her invitation not realizing it was an old-fashioned networking lunch.
I arrived on time and was one of the first people there (you see in New Mexico tardiness is the rule not the exception). I greeted people as they arrived and I saw a few old friends I was truly happy to see.
We had lunch, listened to a guest speaker who gave a brief talk, then we passed the microphone around the room so everyone could have one minute to promote anything they wanted.

Of the 28 sales that closed in February 2010 in the Ventana Ranch area, only 1 was a short sale. Here's a chart that shows regular sales, short sales, bank owned sales and HUD homesales:

I went on a Realtor tour the other day and saw 5 fantastic homes for Sale in Bernalillo NM.
This is a beautiful Wallen home with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 3312 sq ft with a terrific master bedroom suite.
Large windows in the master bedroom look toward the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande River Bosque.

I was out looking at Rio Rancho Real Estate today and I stumbled upon the 7th Annual Rio Rancho Pork and Brew.
There's lots of good food but be sure to bring your windbreaker if you're going this afternoon. The wind was extreme! I had to help hold down a tent with all of my 225 pounds when the first wind gusts blew in.

I love New Mexico!
Yes, there are snowy days here in the desert, especially up in the Sandia Mountains.
One of the benefits of living in Albuquerque are the Sandia Mountains just outside of town. There's skiing in the winter and hiking, biking and picnicking in the summer. Sometimes I take my kids up to Huertas Picnic Area just outside Placitas in the spring and we splash around in the mountain runoff. After that we like to go up to Sandia Man Cave up the road.

Closed sales in Albuquerque were up 4.44% Closed sales in Rio Rancho were up 37.25% Inventory is down 8.26% market wide Pending sales are up 46.98% Closed Sales were up 10.29% New listings were up 6.05% Average days on the market decreased 14.58% to 82 Days Average sales price was up 1.37% Median sales price was up 8.09% February was a good month in Albuquerque Real Estate. No doubt the first time home buyer tax credit is having an effect.

I'm happy to playing with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra again this weekend. I get to play about once a month when the orchestra needs an extra player.
In my previous career I was a free-lance trumpet player in Chicago. I played with symphony orchestras, brass quintets and broadway style pit orchestras.
