2011 was an awesome year for me, so I'm kind of sad to see it go. I met all of my goals and in the process proved to myself that my belief in the power of content marketing (I hate the word blog)  and social media were not misguided.
My goal for personal sales was modest-18 homes. My goal for my internet based business was also rather modest-6 referrals paid. Luckily I hit the first goal right on the head. The second goal I doubled. Woo Hoo! 12 sales farmed out to others.

News Years has to be my least favorite holiday of them all. It's not that I don't like a good party, because indeed I do. Champagne? Yum! Caviar? Well, I'm not too big on caviar, but I love chili con queso and chips!
So why don't I like New Years? Because it's only one day out of the calendar year that frankly, is not that different than any other.

One of the reasons I am so excited to be with my new brokerage, Venture Realty Group in Albuquerque, is that they not only give lip service to helping their agents, they provide real tools.
Like Video. Have you ever tried to make your own video? Trust me it's hard, and they almost always look or sound bad unless you shell out major dollars. Even then there is no guarantee that the quality if the video will make you proud. When video was new, grainy, shaky videos looked 'authentic.' Now homemade videos look just plain bad.
