Cumberland County, Tennessee is very blessed to have some of the top notch medical service responders.  I am always one to brag about how fast these men receive the call and take the challenge of going out and answering the call.  Without missing a beat, these firemen and EMTs do an outstanding job in what they do.  Even though they are going out and doing the handy work, there is always someone else that we tend to forget about--the dispatcher.

This Saturday June 11, 2011, the Cumberland Mountain State Park's Annual Fishing Derby will be held from 3pm to 6pm on the lake side of the Park Restaurant for a kid's fishing tournament.
Cumberland Mountain State Park's Annual Fishing Derby is for children of all ages and prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish. There will also be prizes awarded at the end of the tournament.

I know we as Brokers and business people are suppose to look at our business plan on a regular basis. I know that we are suppose to adjust our expenses to the business plan. I know we are suppose to project and forecast from the figures generated on our business reports. BUT, with all the doom and gloom in the real estate business we hear everyday, I was afraid to even look at our profit and loss report. It seems like business is slow so why look when all I probably will feel is dissapointment.

The brand new 33,000 square foot Art Circle Library is scheduled to open on March 15,2010. Crossville is eager awaiting the opening of the new library on Webb Ave.       
The new Art Circle Library will have study rooms and the Carol Darling Reading Room will provide quiet areas to sit and get serious about your work. The facility will also offer meeting rooms for local clubs and organizations. There is a great need for places like that in Crossville. The Carol Darling room will have murals that will depict the people, history, and culture and landscape of Cumberland County.

According to the Crossville Chronicle, Cumberland County has just been approved to receive a grant for our tourism website. CROSSVILLE ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION   Tennessee Arbor Day will be held on March 5 ,2010. The local celebration will be sponsored by the City of Crossville Tree Board, and held at City Hall beginning at 9:30am. The Mayor will begin the activities by reading the Arbor Day proclamation.
