There will be more than just fireworks during this year's Fourth of July celebration in Vero Beach.
The Independence Day celebration will start several hours before the 9pm Firworks show. Starting at 3:30 p.m. July 4 at Riverside Park in Vero Beach. A free family-orientated celebration will include wet and dry slides, face painting, a DJ and more. Various food and drinks also will be available. All participating vendors have agreed to donate 15 percent of the event's proceeds to the Vero Beach Recreation Department.
