The Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton, NJ is presenting A PLAYHOUSE CHRISTMAS 2009 through December 22, 2009. I attended the November 29th performance and was amazed at the talent of the performers, the fantastic orchestra and lovely accommodations of this 90 acre facility. Mari Green and Don Amorosi gave outstanding performances. If you are in the area the show is well worth seeing. www.hhplayhouse.com (0 comments)
TAX CREDIT FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION MOVES - 11/30/09 01:59 PM
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act), enacted earlier this year, expanded two home energy tax credits: the non-business energy property credit and the residential energy efficient property credit. That means you can perform energy-saving home improvements and reduce your 2009 tax hit. The credit equals 30 percent of what you spend on eligible energy-saving improvements, up to a maximum tax credit of $1,500 for the combined 2009 and 2010 tax years. The IRS says that by spending as little as $5,000 before the end of this year on eligible upgrades, taxpayers can save as much as $1,500 on their (0 comments)

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS(NAR) INVESTS IN DOCUSIGN - 11/16/09 05:39 PM
With more than 18,000 real estate professionals using DocuSign to accelerate their business, and with thousands more subscribing each month is it any wonder that NAR would want to invest in this technology? Rather than driving across town to get a signature or forcing their clients to find a fax machine, real estate professionals use DocuSign to execute agreements with buyers and sellers electronically, eliminating the old process of printing, faxing, and waiting for the return fax. It has been stated that DocuSign real estate professional subscribers achieve higher sales, increase client satisfaction and maintain a competitive edge. Safe and secure, the (3 comments)

MORE PROOF THAT HOUSING TAX RELIEF PLANS WORK - 11/10/09 10:23 AM
More support reported today for housing stimulus plans: The median price for a single-family home was $177,900 in the third quarter, down 11.2% from last year, the National Association of Realtors said in a report this morning. But the first-time-homebuyer tax credit helped push total state existing-home sales, including single-family homes and condos, up 11.4% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.30 million units in the third quarter from 4.76 million units in the second quarter, the NAR said. They are now 5.9% above the 5.01 million-unit pace in the third quarter of 2008. (1 comments)
Via DebOnTheWeb AKA Deb Agliano - Medford, MA Real Estate (ERA Andrew Realty): Last week the Senate voted to extend the first time buyer tax credit. Today the bill passed Congress. It is expected that President Obama will sign the bill in the next day or so. The new bill will extend the $8,000 1st time buyer tax credit to include all properties under agreement by April 30th as long as they close by July 1st 2010. The income limits have been expanded as well. Single people can now make up to $125,000 while married couples can earn up to $225,000 and (2 comments)
