Do you remember real estate prices in 1990? I was digging through my archives and found this article " Agents Snubbing Listings with Unrealistic Prices" The article is very appropriate today, even though it was written in 1990. Many sellers were listing their properties with undrealistic prices and agents and buyers were snubbing than as they are now!

It sure has been nice this past week. My son and I went for a boat ride this past Saturday, and it was more like a early fall day than the end of December. The temperature was in the high 70's and the water was calm. We pretended we were fishing, but what we really wanted was to just get out on a beautiful day.

Once again our wonderful county staff is trying to prevent improving commercial properties. It has become a major obstacle for anyone trying to build or renovate a property in Beaufort County jurisdiction. The argument is weather there should be a natural buffer between the renovations taking place at the old OC Ford Dealership building that is going to be leased to BMW of Hilton Head.
The original Arnold Palmer Ford dealership building was built prior to new Beaufort County LMO was passed; so the property is grandfathered in unless it sells and any new owner would have to bring the property … (0 comments)

Sea Pines Company in 1967 hired Callister and Payne Architects and Land Planners from Tiburn California to come up with a number of home designs that would make nice cottages on the ocean or along the tidal creeks of Hilton Head . Featured here are a couple of the designs that came from their firm in 1967. Although I am not positive but I don’t believe any of these designs were actually built by Sea Pines Home Builders.
