woodland ca: Woodland CA Short Sales - 04/07/09 07:32 PM

As of today there are 85 homes for sale in Woodland listed as short sales. A short sale is when the seller owes more on the house than what it will sell for. In order for a seller to "sell short" the mortgage holder(s) must approve the sale and agree to accept less than what is owed on the property.

Gable Mansion built in 1885 for Amos and Harvey Gable. The Gable brothers were early pioneers in Yolo County. The house is at 659 First St, Woodland. California Registered Historical Landmark No. 864. This is currently a private residence and open to the public only on special occasions.
