Hardwood flooring are some of the most complained about in new construction."Cupping and Crowning" are usally the problem.There are several problems that could cause this problem.Changes in humidity being a big issue. Cupping is when the boards on the edges of each board are lifted up to almostlooks wavey.Cupping occurs when the bottom of the wood flooring has moisture or water spilled on it.Then the top surface dries faster than the bottom.
