The commercial industry (LEED) has already figured out why green is more valuable; better quality of life and lower costs, both which equal higher profits. In 2009 CA Governor commissioned a study that proved the first part of the equation, better quality of life. That study can be found here. Better quality air, happier and healthier workers, less time lost to sickness, more productivity, higher profits. The second part is just dollars and cents.
