Indianapolis Franklin Township Schools Now Charging for Bus ServiceToday was the first day for Franklin Township Schools here in Indianapolis. They are the first school district in Indianapolis to charge a fee for children to ride the bus. The fee is $475.00 for the first child and $400.00 for each additional child. The first day was not without out it’s issues. Some schools had over HALF of their previous bus riders elect not to sign up for bus service this year meaning either more children were walking or hitching a ride to school.It’s understandable that there are services that must be … (2 comments)
