wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday: The Last Butterfly - 11/30/11 02:45 PM
Well, here we are the cold is here again.  But before it starts to get really cold, I was fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of one last butterfly.  This Red Admiral was kind enough to stay perched on my dying marigolds while I ran inside to grab my camera.  
I guess I can't complain too much about the weather.  At least we actually had fall this year instead of going straight from warm summer temperatures to freezing cold snow as it seems we do so often.  :)

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday: A Waterfall Scene - 07/06/11 08:39 PM
I took this picture when I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Seattle...Since it was my first trip out to the West Coast (other than California), they wanted me to see as much of the northwest as possible so we drove through Oregon.  This is a picture that was taken in one of the National forests in Oregon.  I actually ended up having it printed on canvas, framed it, and gave it to my mother for Christmas.

My neighborhood is a quiet one...I live at the back of the neighborhood on a circle that rarely gets any traffic...So why did I have these little buggers in my driveway today?  
If you want to smoke, that's your prerogative...I have no problem with it...
If you drive and flick your butts out at the car behind you, it's a a tad bit annoying...
If you dump your butts all on my driveway, it's downright WRONG!  
Now why can't people keep a container in their car OR here's a novel idea...use the ashtray and dump it in the trash … (9 comments)

Today I let Trin (my pup) out and as I was walking along the front porch I noticed quite a few of my daffodils are sprouting.  Unfortunately it was wishful thinking on their part.  On the other hand it was quite nice to see something green!  I can't wait until spring really has sprung!
