Reno's Redneck RodeoLooking for a little family fun on a Friday evening?  How about the Redneck Rodeo in Reno this Friday, June 1, 2012?  The Grand Sierra Resort & Casino right here in Reno will be hosting a drive-in movie night/truck show combo that is sure to be fun for everyone!  The Billy Crystal classic "City Slickers" is the feature pic of the evening.

Anyone who shows up can participate in the truck show.  Registration will take place from 4-6pm on the night of the event.  Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

  • Best Redneck/Camouflage/Hunting Truck
  • Best Sticker Decorated Truck
  • Tallest Truck
  • Dirtiest Truck
  • Best Dodge Truck (Dodge is the official sponsor of the Reno Rodeo)
  • People's Choice
  • All Around Best in Show

The truck shows starts at 5:30pm and the movie begins at 8pm.  Prizes for the winners of the truck show will be awarded right before the movie (at 7:30pm).  In addition to the truck show and movie, the Reno Redneck Rodeo includes tons of entertainment, games and contests with prizes, an exclusive airing of the Reno Rodeo Kids commercial videos and a special VIP treatment at the resort itself.  Tickets for the Reno Redneck Rodeo are just $10 per person or $25 for a family of four and are only available at the door.  There is a $12.99 per person Redneck Rodeo BBQ special going on that evening, too.  Your movie ticket entitles you to the VIP line, where waiting is never an option!

Dress up in your favorite jeans, boots and cowboy/cowgirl getup, pack up the family and come down to the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino for Reno's Redneck Rodeo on Friday, June 1st.  Don't forget to dress up your truck so you can be a part of the Redneck Rodeo truck show.  You might win a prize!
