Calling all Reno area artists! A Reno area artist(s) will be chosen to paint the Reno Windspire wind turbine on July 8, 2010 live during the Reno Artown festivities. A partnership between Artown, Windspire Energy and the City of Reno, this special project is meant to bring attention to Reno's support of the arts and renewable energy. The City of Reno believes that the Reno Artown event is the perfect opportunity to do both. Enjoy a May Faire Celebration in Reno. The 7th Annual May Faire takes place at the Heart to Hand School in Reno, NV on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 10am-2pm. This completely free event is open to the public and is perfect for kids of all ages. There will be craft booths, puppet shows, maypole dancing, kids games, great food, live bluegrass and harp music, a cakewalk and a silent auction.
