As is typical of this time of year, the October 2017 Reno-Sparks Market Report showed that sales tapered off from the hot summertime figures. However, they remain higher than last October's sales. Prices hit their highest mark in almost 12 years. And we don't see that slowing down anytime soon.

The Reno real estate market remains tight.  Home sales typically slow down at the end of the year.  This last year was no exception.  According to the December 2016 Reno-Sparks Market Report, December posted 5% less sales than November.  The median sale price fell 3% lower than the previous month as well to just under $300K.  If you were looking to purchase something in a lower price range, my suggestion would be to consider a condo or looking outside the City of Reno.

The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS® recently released their Reno June 2016 Home Sales Market Report.  Year-over-year sales decreased slightly.  However, prices saw a double digit increase.  Inventory levels came down as well.

The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS® recently released their April 2015 Reno Home Sales report.  The RSAR gathered information from the Northern Nevada Regional MLS to create their report.  The Reno community saw an increase in total sales as well as median sales price.
