Write a letter and dispute a derogatory on ones credit report. Occasionally, there are some who are successful with this method. Usually they will get a letter back stating that something is not correct with their dispute and that nothing is being changed on their behalf or in their favor. The credit bureau responded within the time period specified by law. (oh yes! they have to follow the law.)
