My Top 10 Favorite Videos Games of All Time - 11/17/09 08:59 PM
I grew up in the 80's during which time video games sprung on the scene. I can remember days of going to our small town's local arcade with a few dollars, buying a pack of Now-or-Laters for 10 cents, and using the rest of the money playing Donkey Kong and Pac-man. I remember getting my first Atari 2600 when I was around 6 or 7 and playing games like Combat, Pong, and Pitfall. The memories of heading to the skating rink on Friday night and playing Defender while waiting for a better song to be played. Needless to say I have

Understanding the Title Search - 11/16/09 07:11 PM
Understanding the Title Search Among the many areas of due diligence in buying a home, a title search, or sometimes called a title examination, is one of the most important. The title is a document that gives evidence of an individual's ownership of property. The title search is usually performed by an attorney (usually the closing attorney) in an effort to ensure that the title on a particular house is free of encumbrances. Quotes of the Day - 11 Nov 09, Veterans Day - 11/11/09 10:21 AM
"This is not peace. It is an armistice for 20 years." – French Marshall Ferdinand Foch, Supreme Allied Commander during World War I, upon seeing the final draft of the Treaty of Versailles "More than any other war in history, this war has been an array of the forces of evil against those of righteousness. Eisenhower (1945 in Frankfurt). "It

The two types of property are Real Property and Personal Property. What is Real Estate? Generally speaking, real estate is defined as any interest in land. Quotes of the Day - 9 Nov 09, The Berlin Wall - 11/09/09 05:38 PM
These are quotes from today's 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall: "The remembrance of Nov. 9, 1989, not to mention the remembrance of the horrific proceedings of the (Kristallnacht) pogrom on Nov. 9, 1938, unmistakably teaches us: Walls — whether real or in the heads and hearts of people — walls do not solve any problems." — Archbishop Robert Zollitsch, head of Germany's Bishop's Conference. "The wall was an edifice of fear. On Nov. 9, 20 years ago, it became a place of joy. For 28 years, East Germans could not even approach it. On Nov.

Quotes of the Day - 5 Nov 09 - 11/05/09 08:29 AM
"I had rather starve and rot and keep the privilege of speaking the truth as I see it, then of holding all the offices that capital has to give from the presidency down." Brook Adams, The Degredation of Democratic Dogma, 1919 "Every violation of truth is not only a sort of suicide in the liar, but is a stab at the health of human society." - Ralph Waldo Emerson "Truth like-like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold.....Y-Y-You push it, stretch it, it'll never be enough. You kick at it, beat it, it'll never cover any
