Great post by Nevin Williams from Carlsbad, CA.  Never think that they builder or the builder's agent is on your side.  Most will do what is in their best interest with no concern of your interest.  Always hire a competent real estate agent to represent you when buying a home...new or otherwise.  The best part is that you don't have to pay for representation to get representation.
