Two years ago I was holding an open house at a decent home with great views. I was visited by a middle aged couple that came by to see the home. This couple knows many Realtor in town - it's a small town. They could have called any of them to view the home. But they don't have "A" Realtor. I showed them the home, answered questions, and offered up my email should they have further questions. A couple weeks later they had further questions. And more. And more. I'm a soft-sale Realtor. I offer information and advice and (3 comments)

A different approach. This home had been on the market for sometime. The sellers contacted me to market this home in a new light. Well, how does the light at 6AM look? We also spiffed up the home near Stagecoach with fresh colorful paint and moved some art around. It's a wonderful home on 35 acres. Very private and serene. After 35 years, Car Talk Days are numbered. You either love these guys are they drive you crazy. I happen to love them. Primarily because I like cars and used to work on my own. So it was fun playing along with them and figuring out these problems. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, Car Talk is an NPR program that runs on weekends where people call up and ask questions about their car and how to fix them. I will miss these guys.
Real Estate Market Report for Steamboat Springs - 06/08/12 05:51 AM
Real Estate Market Report for April 2012 APRIL 2012 Steamboat Springs Real Estate Market Report. We had 90 transactions in April for a total of $31M in sales. Volume is down from last year but transaction numbers are up 25%. Overall, April was a solid month in terms of continuing signs of stability. I see pending numbers still increasing and sales are strong.
Another positive for the Steamboat Real Estate market was the Trailhead Lodge auction. Overall I’d say the auctions was a somewhat success. I feel the debt holder realized the true situation and are accepting the reality. They (5 comments)

Steamboat Springs Fireworks Might Fizzle on the 4th OK, snow level wasn't great in Steamboat last year. Now we might lose the 4th of July fireworks too?
