The concert on the green at Big Canoe was another great success. This year there was a change as we heard the Dale Baroni swing and jazz band. This band was great and so was the weather. The turn out for this free event in Big Canoe was wonderful as well.

Today is my wedding anniversary. 11 years ago the way we view this day changed. Now we celebrate on the 12th. This is a minor impact for us compared to what others went through.
My subway stop in the morning when I worked in NYC was Cortland St , The World Trade Center. I worked about 2 blocks form the trade center. Most folks like to run to the beaches in the heat. Today I was in a Northern Atlanta suburb. When I got into my car the outside temperature registered 92 degrees. I drove back to my mountain home. As I pulled into the driveway the temperature registered 81 or 11 degrees cooler !!!!
