blog idea: I am flattered that you read my BLOG - 09/20/08 07:37 AM

I tried a little test yesterday to see if local agents were reading my blog and it proved successful. Here is what I did.... Yesterday at a little after 10am, I posted a blog about a local event (adding a key word that would rarely be used) and then I decided to see if the post would be duplicated. Well this morning I got my answer. At around 9pm last night (less that 12 hours later) the same subject (words moved around a bit) was posted on a local agents blog. Is this copying? blog idea: Your source for a POST... - 01/19/08 08:08 AM

I read a lot in the morning, local news, web-blogs email and outside blogs and posts. I am amazed at how many times I read about the same subject.
Why is this?
This is my illusion... many bloggers are reading their local news or other blogs and just reposting the articles. I have even seen cases where the posts have a small header like this:
Did you know?
Here is the article cut and pasted......

Is this a benefit to your readers or are they just going to overlook you as a duplication of news.

blog idea: BLOG IDEAS!!! - So easy... - 11/14/07 06:28 AM

I have a good friend that recently asked me where do I get all my blog ideas???
I had to think about this for a couple of days as my brain is very full of information (some useful and some not so useful). So I realized that remembering is a problem as I get older...But then I realized the answer.
Now there are a lot of blogs that give you ideas and some that tell you that every-time someone asks a question (that is a blog) and this is very true. But the main problem is remembering these gems....
