politics: The next big problem on the horizon.... - 03/19/09 06:55 AM
Yesterday the fed announcement to buy t-bills took center stage...
The underlined news is that the Fed Funds Rate is Unchanged at .....
wait for it..... (see photo)

This is just amazing. We may never again in our lives (or our grand-children lives) see the Fed rate at 0...
Are we getting set up for inflation? I think so and I also think it may be the next big problem on the horizon...
This is just my opinion, what's your opinion?

politics: New Dollar Bill - Thanks Congress! - 09/30/08 07:04 AM
It appears that we are in a little financial trouble (so we hear from the media). With that said, it is time to re-evaluate the currency that we use. Below is a highly recommended replacement for the current dollar bill that is now almost worth-less:

politics: POLITICS - Humor - 09/27/08 07:04 AM

I stumbled on this definition of the word POLI-TICS and I had to add to it a little...
There are 2 parts to the word
The first part derived from the word : POLY  a Greek prefix meaning "many"
The second part : TICS - "Bloodsuckers" that attach themselves to warm blooded mammals...

politics: Vote Early and Vote often! LOL!!! - 02/12/08 10:55 AM
Whenever we go to vote I always remember the saying "Vote Early and Vote Often"
I do not know the origin of this comment but I remember the first time I heard it. My father-in-law, who is not a real joker at all, said it and I was shocked and actually laughed out loud.
Well as my shirt tells you I voted this morning with my wife and my mother (85 years young). The great thing is we saw a couple of our neighbors that we do not see often voting too!
Voting is a right we all have and I encourage all Charlottesville, … (21 comments)

politics: Charlottesville gets political? - 02/08/08 07:21 AM
It is official Charlottesville will be visited this Sunday and Monday (just before Tuesdays primary) by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
I have not gotten the official schedule yet but it is good to know that Charlottesville is on the political map!
I really do not care if you are a Republican, Democrat or Independent (or some combination) this election is going to be an interesting turning point for our country.
With the Stock Market showing signs of a recession and the housing market where it is, I would love to ask a couple pointed questions (maybe I will).
The reality to me is … (16 comments)

politics: Cramer Says: Buy Real Estate!!! - 01/30/08 05:53 PM

I was flipping through the channels and I saw good old Jim Cramer on CNBC (I just had to watch him).
Well, I almost fell out of my chair, Cramer says "BUY REAL ESTATE" did I hear him right?
This might just be the catalyst we need in this great nation to get the market really moving again. Now I am not saying that his comments will move the market, but it is amazing how others networks will pay attention and start saying the same thing.
If we get more of the media talking positive about Real Estate, we will see great improvement. … (45 comments)
