Closed on a wonderful home near the NGIC Real Estate area yesterday with a wonderful couple (in the rain of course) Today I am off to a home inspection and then I will be showing a couple specific farms in the Charlottesville area. Farms are always great to see as you get to walk the property and get a feel for the land. I hope the rains in Charlottesville have dried up by then We love Charlottesville Weather Always a lot to do so I am off to the races! My sister sent me this today and I actually feel this way: I am taking the day off to celebrate my 50th Birthday with my family! We are off to the pool and some quality time together ~ ~ ~

Many of my readers know that our Office (Re/Max Assured Properties) is the top selling office in the Charlottesville Area for number of transactions. Yesterday we had our quarterly office meeting and I was pleased to be awarded the "Top Producing Individual for 2009" for our office. If you read my blog you know that I moved over to Re/Max just two years ago. We have a group of outstanding agents and it is my pleasure to be associated with them! 2010 is starting out with a bang!

We see a lot of statistics and there is one set that I found interesting regarding our local agents at CAAR - Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS.
Specifically what are Agents doing since Jan 1, 2009?
We currently have 1318 active agents in our Associaton of Realtors
1. New Agents = 28
2. Agents who have transfers from one Broker to another = 104
3. Agents who have become inactive = 105
So about 8% of our members have left the business and about 8% have decided to switch Brokers. Now there are a lot of reasons why an agent … (13 comments)
