music: Fundraiser - 12/26/07 07:21 PM

I had a wonderful opportunity presented to me this year. A good friend of mine came to me and asked if I wanted to participate in a fundraiser. He volunteers with a youth group and they wanted to do something to help out the local homeless shelter. They have worked all year long to raise money. I sponsored two events for them. One was a 5k walk and then a choral group that I sing in put on a benefit Christmas concert. We had people who matched the money that we raised and then that money was matched as well.
