Many a time we drove around our island and passed this property and I was one to concoct all kinds of morbid thoughts and tales in my head when I saw a spooky kind of structure. This was one of them. After researching I found that there is nothing spooky about it but a worn down building on the property.
Right off Kamehameha Highway the old gutted building (to the right) still stands with what is left of the state home for wayward boys. On June 18, 2002 a fire destroyed all but concrete walls of the structure that was vacant … (20 comments)
