Okay, so I am one to create my own positivity about any circumstance or situation but doing so NOW is especially important as our national economic woes affect EVERYONE. Our residents in our tropical island paradise (our chain of Hawaiian Islands) are breaking down barriers and continuously moving forward to overcome obstacles that we have been facing. The media has given the consumer a NATIONWIDE view of the housing market and it's not factual information after crossing the Pacific Ocean. The media has given the consumer wrong information because each and every neighborhood presents a different LOCAL market. Each city has different statistics for their housing market and goes right down to each state has their own statistics for their economy and the reasons why.

In Hawaii, we are having a crisis of our own. The ripple effect from the declining tourism industry is on a roll. Because the housing market is so bad in many places on the mainland it's obvious that the number of our incoming vacationers has dropped over 17% for last month alone. No telling what this month's figures will bring.
Then starts the ripple effect of a declining tourism industry due to the decline in incoming visitors to Hawaii. Businesses related to tourism are losing money.
