honolulu: The History Behind DIAMOND HEAD Crater - Honolulu County- Hawaii - 07/16/08 07:47 PM

Diamond Head is towards east Honolulu and past Waikiki Beach. This monstrous crater is an extinct volcano from 300,000 thousand years ago and is 3,520 feet in diameter with a 760 ft. summit.

This is the history of … (23 comments)

honolulu: The Lion Dance & History of Honolulu's Chinatown - 02/03/08 09:32 PM

Chinese New Year is on February 7, 2008 and the festivities have gone on all week to celebrate the Year of the Rat.

Everyone stopped shopping to take pictures and feed the lion dollars. When the lion opened his mouth I … (38 comments)
