Every year on Memorial Day I think of this post I wrote about my son, Michael, who served in the US Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. How Can I Stand Here With You- And Not Be Moved By You?
It was his birthday on March 19th, 2001, the day the war broke out in Iraq and he was aboard the USS Kitty Hawk in the Persian Gulf.

In honor of all the men and women who have served our country and died for our country during wartime!
