north shore oahu hawaii: A Fishing Expedition at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park | North Shore of Oahu Hawaii - 09/02/11 10:31 PM
We had this bright idea to go fishing a couple of Sundays ago and see if we couldn’t do any better that our ‘great fishing expedition of 2004”. Nope, back then we did not catch one darn fish and the best thing that came out of that one was we made a friend for those three days. “Boy” was there at the beach every morning to greet us and laid at my feet after romping around for awhile. So, on that Sunday we drove through Old Haleiwa town and then over to Waialua and on Fresh Air Camp Road. Now, in (6 comments)

north shore oahu hawaii: Cooked by the Sun! Sharks Cove on the North Shore - 05/13/09 07:30 PM
The crab in the picture had a little too much sun and got cooked right there on the rock! Sharks Cove is a giant reef located on the North Shore of the island of Oahu and a great place for snorkeling & scuba diving. The crystal clear water depicts the awesome views of marine life in their natural environment that you are bound to see under the surface of the ocean. With Spring already here and Summer approaching, this is the best time to snorkel as the waters are calm. (unlike during the winter when the waves go up and over (28 comments)

north shore oahu hawaii: A Talented Artist: Ron Artis (Art.....Is) - 12/01/08 10:43 AM
While driving to and along the North Shore of Oahu this past Saturday and Sunday I started noticing murals on buildings. I snapped the one above in hopes I could find out more about this talented artist who signed the murals as Ron Artis. Ron Artis' website at www.ronartis.com says he is a disabled vet who will always give the best to his country. He has painted many a mural inside US Navy Ships and Submarines and looking through many pages on his site I was amazed at the talent of this artist and what he is doing around our (24 comments)
We started out with blue skies and crisp cool air hitting our faces and enough so that we didn't need the air con in the car.
One hour of sunny weather where I could took a shot of our shadows to prove that it REALLY was sunny this November 28th morning.
But alas, a few miles down the country (52 comments)
north shore oahu hawaii: Tropical Fall Months in Honolulu County Hawaii - 11/15/08 11:18 PM
Well, we sure don't have the fall leaves changing colors and we don't have snow or seasonal pictures standing out in a crowd displaying the distinct months of the year. What we do have in Honolulu County is a warm tropical climate with blue skies that take your breath away day after day throughout the year.
During the month of November we still have the wonderful sunny skies with a little bit cooler temperature although it's still sun, fun, boating and surfing with the larger waves peaking on the North Shore of Oahu. In fact, the 2008 World Championship Tour with (31 comments)
north shore oahu hawaii: Ride the Wild Surf! Sunset Beach, North Shore of Oahu - 10/21/08 12:18 AM
Sunset Beach, North Shore of Oahu Hawaii Okay, we got there a little late for the big surf but there were still a few surfers out catching the baby waves that were left over from the morning swell. Sunset Beach on Oahu's North Shore is one of the longest sandy beaches on the island. Running two miles long and 300 feet wide it makes for a great way to spend the day.....sunbathing, snorkeling or during winter swells...just standing back and watching the surfers.
Every winter there are surfing competitions all along the North Shore but Sunset Beach (33 comments)
Dillingham Airfield was fully utilized during World War II. Over the years it was an Army Air Field and an Air Force Air Field and finally closed but used for civil use in the 1970's. In a joint agreement with the military and the State of Hawaii it continued civil use and in the late 1990's until present there are the skydiving and sailplane rides. The gliders and many private aircraft are based here (46 comments)

What a way to spend a September 3, 2007 Labor Day but to jump in my car and cruise down to the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii! Being a Realtor Associate® on Oahu is a luxury and I surely don't take it forgranted. No matter where I take my clients there is going to be breathtaking scenery all around us and we have laws of the land to abide by such as in this post: Purchasing Hawaii Vacant Land? Ancient Hawaiian Burial Sites and Laws I had been cooped up in the house for two days resting my injured back. I woke up refreshed for the first time in two (46 comments)
