The Seven Spiritual Laws Of Success;Author, Deepak Chopra - 12/06/07 12:43 PM
I first stumbled across The Seven Spiritual Laws Of Success while watching T.V.  I know, how ironic!  While watching a favorite show of my son's, Run's House, a reality show of Reverend Run, one of the main characters, Russell Simmons listed several of his favorite books to his nephew.  One of them stuck out in my mind for one main reason, if a person can be as successful and well grounded as Russell Simmons, something had to be influential in his life.I made it a point one day last week to go out and find this book.  It was much easier than … (4 comments)

Local organizations looking for more donations - 12/01/07 08:58 AM
                                                
Throughout the year, many local organizations use the assistance of the general public for charity.  As many of you know, donations as a whole are down.  I encourage, and challenge you all to help those in need for the holiday season.   Giving to charity is an honorable act, not just for the holidays, but year round.
While in college, I was first introduced to the gift of giving.  Having been raised in a loving family, surrounded by friends and family throughout the year, and even more during the holiday season, I was a little oblivious to the rest of the families … (2 comments)
