Tomorrow is the day for me....you know the one where you crawl into your CPA's office with a knot the size of a large great white shark tucked comfortably in your gut...
Everyone feels that...don't they?
Does anyone have any information, hope, fairy dust, that they might want to share as far as deductions or assistance for Realtors? I would really appreciate any advice....and so would the Great White Shark in my tummy:)

 We did it! We found the perfect house for my clients. Oh...wait...Mr. Listing Agent, is it just me or is there really only one door?????? This half a million dollar home that sits among the most majestic of oaks and gleams of new construction (built in late 2006) only has ONE DOOR???????
 Ummmmm...ok. Now lets see..how to explain this one to my clients who are so extremely excited and even ready to write an offer BEFORE even visiting the home. Oh goody goody Ya'll!!!! It is getting that time of year again. I can hardly sit still. The water looks like glass, the birds are swooping and diving, the gators are sunning, and the "bait and tackle" shop is all a buzz!
What's a girl to do???? Captain Jack can hardly contain himself, as if he can smell the warmer waters rolling in!
This is ,of course, my busy season in real estate. I am fortunate enough to have clients coming in weekly, sometimes dailyand that is just about as good as catchin a big one:)

Ok..so maybe money isn't growing on our palm trees right now but that doesn't mean that every home seller is desperate!!
Thanks to the media and loose lips, the offers coming in aren't even close to reasonable! I take pride in carefully pricing each listing. I believe in negotiation but something has simply got to give!
I understand the "market correction", I take it in to consideration when carefully advising my clients during the pricing process. It pains me tremendously to see agents (and of course some are simply messengers) writing offers that don't even make sense!

As if my day wasn't long enough....Moments after eloquently explaining the rise and fall of our ever changing tides while WALKING BACKWARDS IN HIGH HEELS on a floating dock...I busted my @$$...Yep.
Sorry for the language but there simply isn't a better word for it.
 There are moments in our careers that are easily recoverable...My friends..this WAS NOT one of them.
We have a little thing called pluff mud here in Beaufort South Carolina. It is part mud, part water, part oyster shell, and part quick sand!!!

Ok...I am a eternally optimistic, a bit of a dreamer, some even say naive....But what if....( if you are the pessimistic type....please exit immediately)

What more could a woman ask for! Besides the beautiful coastal views, the amazing weather, our ability to wear flip flops just about all year long, and down right fantastic food, we have Marines!!! Ok...I have to honor those fearless, distinctive, physically phenomenal female marines also! So we have it all:)
