Normally any sentence that begins with the phrase "Short Sale" ends in tantrums, outbursts, and/or blank stares. Even on my most optimistic days, I too, grumble at the very thought; however, I think I just may have found the Holy Grail.
Approximately 200 days ago, a young couple came to me for help. Long story short, they were in trouble. I went over the entire process with them, explaining the implications, possible obstacles, and options. Like most, they ended our meeting with the dreaded question, "Can you do this?"

Last night at exactly 8:08pm I went from being 30 something:) to 5 in less than ten minutes. Never before had I seen snow flakes fall along the rivers of Beaufort. Never before had I seen Palm trees coated in the whitest, softest, most magnificent accessory that danced down in sheets.
Sitting in one of my favorite Beaufort Restaurants, Saltus, I completely lost any semblance of adulthood. To the detriment of my dinner guests, I quickly chose to forego the wine in exchange for a snow cone! How could I not?

What was I thinking?

Ok...so the holidays are coming up, and my mind started to drift to my grandma's apple pie and my father's turnip greens. It made me think.
